Bologna Regional Culinary Tour
May 24-31, 2026
"Made in Emilia-Romagna” means made with patience, purpose and pride. The region is more than Italy’s pantry—it is its soul.
--Jeff Porter, Wine Enthusiast
Our week-long journey reveals a unique expression of this remarkable part of the world. Quaint villages like Dozza, cities like Modena, Ravenna and Bologna itself all have a soul of their own. Two cooking classes and one winery tour round out the immersive experiences.

Puglia Regional Culinary Tour
September 6-13, 2026
Sink in with a week-long stay in the UNESCO heritage town of Otranto,; a medieval palazzo with a rooftop terrace is all ours. Enjoy boat charters to other seaside towns, lunches on farms in the countryside, visit Lecce and Monopoli, and a most intriguing spot-- the tip of the heel of the boot!

Turin & Lake Como Culinary Tour
September 25-Oct. 3, 2026
Join us for a weekend at the original Slow Food festival established in Turin, Italy, called Terra Madre. Turin is the first capital of the kingdom of Italy; elegant with cultural depth and culinary legends. There is much to see and do, so free time is included each day. Then we spend 5 days of La Dolce Vita in Bellagio on Lake Como. We have an ivy covered home split into a few luxurious apartments right in the residential hamlet of Pescallo, right on the lakeshore. We will boat around the lake daily, visiting beautiful points of interest, eating at carefully chosen restaurants and naturally include a cooking class!
Just as “slow food” advocates for a more immersive cooking and eating experience, “slow travel” champions an immersive rhythm of touring that feels more like a lifestyle. We create itineraries that savor timelessness, when days are measured by unfolding memories and meaningful experiences. We stay in private havens that allow the space and time to reflect, absorb, and appreciate the beauty and diversity of the destination. Kat, a culinary anthropologist, and Paolo, native son of Bologna, host small groups of 8 to 10 guests for week-long immersive travel.
The focus is on the cuisine and cultural creativity of Italy.
